About Me

I’m Sara, financial coach and retired CPA.

Even though I do this work now, I grew up in a family where no one talked about money. I wasn't taught how to manage it or what to do with it.

While studying accounting, I learned all about debits and credits but that still did not translate into real life.

It wasn't until I made the commitment to myself that I would start paying regular attention to my finances - and learned the practical skills I needed to know - that everything changed.

This personal work, along with the 10+ years I spent working as an accountant in the corporate world, as well as the almost 10 years I spent running my own Health Coaching business, taught me what's most important in managing your finances and what is just noise.

Now, I blend my experience to help other service-based business owners learn to organize their finances with ease.

Here’s the thing. No matter what type of business you run, you have to know your financial numbers. I came to understand that most solopreneurs and small business owners don’t have the background to be confident in their finances. And without this piece, it’s nearly impossible to grow a thriving business.

Most entrepreneurs have the heart and expertise in their field to do amazing things, but they need the financial know-how to keep growing. And for many business owners, money becomes a significant stumbling block.

So, Easy Business™ Bookkeeping was born! I blended my accounting background with my entrepreneurial experiences to create this course. It guides you through setting up a simple system for tracking and understanding your business finances.

I am beyond thrilled to be helping other small business owners feel confident and prepared when it comes to their money. This work is aligned with my background and passions, and it’s an honor to serve in this way.

When I’m not talking all things business, finances, I’m spending time with my family. Our busy Long Island home includes my husband, our two kids, and a cat. We love to travel and hang out at the beach.

And when I have some moments to myself, I take advantage and read or go to the spa. Bliss!
